From the Highlands to the Caucasus 

Conductor Ian Ridgewell begins the concert with the Scottish "The Land of the Mountain and the Flood", familiar as having been the theme tune to "Sutherland's Law".  The concert proceeded from Scotland, England and Armenia to the end in the wilds of the Caucasus.

Among the Caucasian Sketches there were notable solos evocative of the Middle East. Here the conductor is acknowledging outstanding contributions.

The concert concluded with the rousing "Procession of the Sardar".  Here the orchestra enjoys the final applause.
